Ladurée Bouquet

Anyone that's heard of macarons has most likely heard of Ladurée - the French master of these little wheels of goodness and all things sweet.  While nothing can beat a visit to Ladurée in its Parisian birthplace, I'm pretty happy to make do with the one nestled within Harrods in Knightsbridge, London.

The designer in me generally ends up picking a selection based on colour alone but if I'm choosing for flavour salted caramel is by far my favourite.  Everything about Ladurée is delicate - the store fit out, the crockery and, of course, the sweet treats themselves!  The pretty pastel packaging complete with ribbon makes take away hard to resist but eating in is recommended for the full experience, French waiters included!
